This model is one of the original Matsuzaki shears and was launched into the market at the beginning of the 21st century. On the blade you see an engraved crest of three golden rings symbolizing three generations of great design and hand craftsmanship. Hollow ground clam shell blades have a Hamaguri edge and are designed stronger to cut with greater power yet maintain that delicate balance that comes with a longer blade and shorter handles. Greater control is gained with this design.
